Our Solid Oak Double Wardrobe is crafted by our skilled joiners by using the highest grade oak. This wardrobe comprises a double hanging space above a full width, spacious drawer. Traditional techniques have been used in crafting this wardrobe including front paneling and dovetail joints in the drawer. The handles are a metal curved drop bar design and have a blackened bronze finish. All corners are rounded and edges chamfered to smooth the lines of the piece. It's simple to achieve a traditional farmhouse feel. It's a style so classic that it would work as well in a city flat as in a cosy cottage.

Maintaining solid wood furniture is to extend its service life and maintain its beauty and stability. The following are some maintenance suggestions for solid wood furniture:
1. Avoid direct sunlight
Solid wood furniture should avoid being exposed to the sun for a long time. Ultraviolet rays and excessive heat can cause wood to fade, crack or deform. It can block the sunlight through curtains or blinds to maintain the colour and structure of the furniture.
2. Maintain the appropriate humidity
Wood is sensitive to changes in humidity, and too dry or too humid environments can cause wood to deform, crack or expand. It is ideal to keep the indoor humidity between 40% and 60%. Use a humidifier in winter and keep it ventilated in summer to avoid the air being too dry or humid.
3. Regular cleaning
• Wipe the dust with a soft dry cloth, and avoid using a wet cloth to wipe the furniture directly.
• If there are stains on the furniture, you can use a special wood cleaner to gently wipe it, and do not use detergents containing chemical solvents.
• Regularly remove the dust accumulated on the surface of the wood with a clean soft cloth to prevent scratches.
4. Avoid contact with high-temperature items
Avoid placing hot pots and hot water cups directly on the surface of solid wood furniture, especially when there are no table mats or placemats. High temperature may cause wood deformation or surface scorrching.
5. Regular waxing or oiling
Solid wood furniture can be waxed or oiled regularly to increase its lustre and dirt resistance. The use of natural beeswax, wood oil or specialised wood care products can not only keep the wood moist and prevent it from cracking, but also make it look more shiny.
6. Avoid scratches and collisions
Try to avoid using hard objects to scratch the surface of the furniture. For tabletops, chair surfaces and other parts that are easy to wear, you can use tablecloths, placemats, cushions and other protective items.
7. Regularly check the furniture structure
Regularly check the connections of solid wood furniture, such as screws, tenon structures, etc., to ensure that they are not loose. Tighten or repair the loose parts in time to avoid damage after long-term use.
Eight. Avoid the humid environment
Avoid placing solid wood furniture in humid environments, such as bathrooms, kitchens, etc. Too much moisture can cause wood to expand, rot or mould.
9. Avoid carrying weight for a long time
When solid wood furniture is used for a long time, avoid overloading. For example, overweight items piled up on desks, cabinets and other furniture may cause wood deformation or loose structure.
Through these meticulous maintenance, the service life of solid wood furniture can be effectively extended and its beauty and stability can be maintained.
